After not using the TV server for a while it just crashes. Mostly this is at night but it occurs only when no client is watching TV.
Sometimes the database is broken and I have to clean it up manually.

I disabled every server plugin but without a change.

    I appreciate any help,
    Daniel

    Hello Daniel

Seems the problem is the idle EPG grabber.

It survived the first night. I'll check again tomorrow.

If this really solves the crash problem I do not have any EPG data since it is only gathered when tuned to a transponder which is pretty bad (though better than the crashes). Anything I could do to keep "EPG while idle" activated?

It crashed yesterday evening. I am pretty sure it happened during a recording which has been the first recording since my first post here. So the problem may be the EPG grabber but it seems to be happening when the EPG grabber runs during recordings.

    I attached the log files.

Any ideas? Thank you very much,

    Daniel

...plus much more of that kind of thing.
This is the EPG grabber/decoder complaining about the format of the data it is finding.
It is like you have corrupted signal or the EPG grabber is looking for data in a place that doesn't actually have EPG data.

I enabled TVMovie Plugin yesterday since it seemed to work, this was before the crash. I know I did not set it up correctly. I disable it now again. Furthermore, I schedule some recordings now, maybe I can force the crash to occur again.

I see that the EPR grabber complains about the format. This, however, should not be the cause for the crashes, right?

I just filled out the systemspecs page. It is a double DuoFlex DVB-S system so there are 4 tunes over Unicable which is handled by the device drivers. I've been using MePo 1.2.3 for a year and it did not crash. After installing Windows 8 (from scratch) MePo 1.3.0 everything was fine for a week or two. It just started to crash without any reason (as far as I can see) and did not stop again.

Thanks for your help, I better donate now :)
