TV-Servers crashes every night (3 Viewers)

at least those bad descriptior length messages are always there when you are watching/recording RTL Passion, Sky Cinema+24, Fox HD, so try to reproduce problem with these channels and report back if tvserver crashes on these channels. Then we can look further if we can check/adjust epg decoder for your provider.

I scheduled some recordings on these channels. Watching these channels does not cause a crash.

It crashed every hour, even worse than before. I checked the Plugins directory just to be sure I did not install some debug/beta/alpha/garbage plugin (after a beer or so) and found the MPExtended.dll which I forgot.

I removed MPExtended and … it has been running for a day now with EPG grabber enabled (on idle) without any glitch. I scheduled some more recording for the night to check if this really is okay now.

It crashed again last night. Since there is another error this time it might not be the EPR grabber.

I'm not seeing what you're talking about there.
Please specify the time of the crash.

I don't know since I've been asleep but error.log was the file with the last change and it contains an Exception right at the time of the file's timestamp.

So what is it that makes you think the service has crashed?
And I thought you said the EPG grabber had been disabled?

See my post from yesterday, 6:21 pm. I enabled the EPG grabber after it did run fine for a while without the MPExtended dll.

I think it crashed because it was not running this morning. The last written log entry was an Exception at 06:05:23 in error.log.

And again a crash. EPG (while idle) disabled, no plugin enabled.

I think it was just after a recording started.

And again. This time the EPG grabber finished long before the TV server crashed.
