I dont know if the Tv Service stops, but the sound and picture freezes.

    Hi,

I see a lot of this

    Code:
2011-12-26 21:07:39.536744 [(16)]: Exception :TvLibrary.TvException: Unable to tune to channel
ved TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDvbBase.SubmitTuneRequest(Int32 subChannelId, IChannel channel, ITuneRequest tuneRequest, Boolean performTune)
ved TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDvbBase.DoTune(Int32 subChannelId, IChannel channel, Boolean ignorePMT)
       ved TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDVBS.Scan(Int32 subChannelId, IChannel channel)

2011-12-26 21:07:39.552344 [(16)]: Exception :TvLibrary.TvException: Unable to tune to channel

in the TV server logs. Have you done a channel scan recently? Perhaps some channels have changed frequencies.

There doesn't seem to be anything obvious (to me) on the client side, so I guess we need a TV server expert to help.

However, the first thing I would do is a complete uninstall, removing all databases, then a fresh install and try tuning again.

Also, I would recommend the LAV filters for all codec choices. That's not official team advice, but these codecs seem to be the best free option.

YES, I tok a channel search this night. I think I forgot to hook of for channel movement. I have two tv cards. I changed all codecs to cyberlink, and all of a siden it worked again. This han be because it noe uses the other tv card. I say this because the other tv card make a beeping sound when watching HD channels

Well, you could try disabling the problem card and see if everything is okay.

    Could be due to overheating?

    Hi Doser_86

I don't think the TV service is stopping. There is no evidence of that in your logs. I do see some symptoms of signal corruption or decryption problems that might cause the video and audio to stop:

    Ok.

First of all, excuse my english.

    I have now tried somethings.
The problem i posted yesterday just solved it self.
I have now made a new channel seartch with channel movement.
I have one channel that worked after first channel seartch. Then it would not work, not even EPG. Yeasterday night it came up with EPG and working. Today after a new channel seartch it will not work again.
Also, i am paying for a lot of channels to my lokal provider. A lot of the channels I can not even find when I am using custom seartch. I know these channels are out there. I am saying this because I have these channels on a other computer with MediaPortal. These channels where also on this computer before the reinstall fore three days ago.

I don`t understand why I am unable to do custom seartch. I can not even do custom seartch for channels that are allready in the system. This is also something that I am experiencing in Moving Pictures.

    Hi again

I have now made a new channel seartch with channel movement.
Just to note: enabling channel movement detection *can* cause problems.

I have one channel that worked after first channel seartch. Then it would not work, not even EPG. Yeasterday night it came up with EPG and working. Today after a new channel seartch it will not work again.
I'm sorry but I need logs to be able to investigate this problem.

Also, i am paying for a lot of channels to my lokal provider. A lot of the channels I can not even find when I am using custom seartch. I know these channels are out there. I am saying this because I have these channels on a other computer with MediaPortal. These channels where also on this computer before the reinstall fore three days ago.

No comment about Moving Pictures. I can help with the manual scan issues - the parameters are quite important - but I need an example. Please list all the details of one of the channels that is already in the channel list, then attempt to do a manual scan for it and provide logs.

    I will try this tomorrow.
How do I make logs for channel seartch? Is this not only fore when inside MediaPortal?

I also see that I am missing a lot of radio channels.
I feel that after reinstalling the whole system that the picture quality also is mutch more bad then before. I am using SAF V.6.00 unlocked.

    Hi again

You can make logs for a channel scan by performing the scan and then following the instructions for non-reproducible problems -->here<-- (use option 3 in the watchdog tool).

About the logs: what problem should I be looking for? If the picture quality is the problem then can you describe the problem. Is it glitches/stutters, or pixelation/breakup, or audio-video synchronisation, or washed-out colour... there are many potential picture problems so please be more specific. I can say that it looks like the Cyberlink and LAV codecs from SAF are being used...
