Sorry to jump in, but would it be easier for mm to test, if Thread starter takes a short ts dump, where change exist, so that mm can use fake bda driver, which takes in that ts dump,

No, unfortunately not... because the problem involves testing of decryption, which can only tested with real DD hardware.

Here is a new set of logs for the following scenario:

• Unpatched file (1.12 original)
• Channel A: "Neu im Kino: Ant Man" starts @ 16:45 with no selectable audio stream
• Channel B: parallel recording "In secret"

At ~+1:50 there is an audio change on Channel A, which introduces AC3 sound. No freeze or even audio hick-up is happening on channel B.

I will go on with testing the new patch when you will advise to do so.

It is important to note that the new audio stream remains encrypted. I can tell this because there is only one "PID seen - type = Audio" entry. So, I'd expect that audio stream to show in the recording, but it won't be playable. That is the bug that the patch is trying to solve... without affecting other tuners.

I have not read through all your posts guys but I too almost never come across that problem any more.
I also switched from maxcam to deltacam.
I'm saying almost cause after a deltacam firmware upgrade a couple of recordings had that issue again but then it stopped occurring, maybe it needed a reboot for some reason

The issue is very much dependent on timing. If your pre-record time is relatively low, you might not encounter the issue...

The behavior mm is describing, is still happening. Additional PMT's that are added later, will not be decrypted. In this specific recording the first audio stream switches to AC3 german, whiel a 2nd AC3 English is added. The latter remains indeed encrypted and switching to it continues to paly the video, hwoever, without audio now.

Recording times were deliberately chosen to capture the problem. I have loaded the new library and scheduled recordings for later today.

At ~+2:00 there is an audio change on channel A, which introduces AC3 sound. Moving forward until the movie actually starts and then switching to the second audio stream yields - silence
