TV tuner not detected using newest driver. (1 Viewer)

    0.- this is about Hauppauge WINTV PVR USB2
    1.- I used driver version driver "23178" - it worked fine.
    (this driver is now removed an new is published, version "24117")
    the driver is here: http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/support_pvrusb2.html#app

    2.- Media Portal does not recognize(find) this tuner anymore, after driver update.
    ("any" other TV application still works with the new driver)
    3.- installing the old driver, makes MediaPortal again detect and use it.

    Please update so the new driver can be used.

    Hi,
    When you change driver like this, you have to you use this Template to get it supported again.
    It's not a MediaPortal bug when supplier changes names or something with their drivers :)

    I agree, this is not a bug, I just assumed that detection was somehow universal thing, and was supposed to "just work" :)

    Keep up the good work, this is a great piece of software..
