I've just built brunch too :p
Also I installed TVService (unfortunately, I had to uniinstall TVE3 service as it has the same name and probably is recognizing as duplicate)
I ran SetupTV, it found my Technisat CableStar HD2 DVB-C card and even found transponders list by single frequency scanning (!) but no channels were found.
    Cool

Sorry, mm, no idea where are they :p
I've started service and setuptv right from bin/Debug folder.
I probably need to properly place files in MP folder but I don't know where to put which files
Also I've run it on my old mysql and I've no idea if any database preparation is needed for entity framework...

    Nah, nothing there...
Probably some paths are not full and logs creations failed. I'll debug setuptv later.
Anyway, I can see that tve352 database was created which is good start for me (y)

    Not intentionally. :)
I'm most interested in the TV service log, which [I think] should be called "tve-35.log". The SetupTv log won't contain anything of interest.

[edit: Interestingly, the TsWriter log shows that some channels are found...]

Me too but it didn't produce even after TVService restart

Yes, but scan tells nothing found and those channels itseft are empty (no tunning details), not mapped to card, catn't be mapped and can't be deleted.
Channel table is filled but tunningdetails table is not.
    And....
I found the log by filename in another folder! :D it was not in Application Data folder.
