Oh well, stop getting distracted and toddle off and re-write the NZ online TV portals for them using standaradised methods, so that it all works nicely with Online Videos... there's a good lad

There are a few xmbc pluggin projects on GitHub - all written by the same guy.

However, it was last updated between 1-3 years ago, so i don't imagine its going to be very helpful.
