TvSeries Crashes MP Config (2 Viewers)

The fixed works also for XP users(=me).

I also had the problem that i couldn`t play mkv files after installing the 1.1 final and the latest streammp.
Reinstalling tvplugin witrh DB remove didn`t help ( for both of the problems) so i did a complete remove of mediaportal and now everything is working fine.

the work around to open the MY-TVseries plugin works like a charm !!

still some work left on how/why the my-tvseries crashes (with streamedmp installed) when one tries to open it from within MP configuration utility
might be an uac issue ??

most likely another plugin (its not skin related)...do you use the backup-settings plugin? I know that has had a problem in the past..so if you do make sure your running the latest one. You should attach all log files after reproducing the crash.

You should also ensure your running the latest StreamedMP 1.4.3 (at this time), as there was an crash in config if Movingpictures was not installed. But if you have movingpictures installed then that wont be the problem.

I have used the backup plugin...
but not for a longer while.

if u can stipulate me the location of the logs you require, will gladly set them here.

Does that mean its installed? If so its probably old, so you should either remove it or upgrade to the latest version.

fantastic, quick jump into irc
fast resolution found
BackupSettingsMP plugin was the cause
1. disable it in the MP config
2. enter the MP install dir <drive>:\install-dir\plugins\process\
3. physically remove BackupSettingsMP.dll + BackupSettingsMP.exe
4. fire up the MP config
5. test MY-TVSERIES config => works now
