I'm sure that the Sky logo's are in there. If you install the logo pack via the MPEI plugin installer (should be a shortcut on your desktop) it installs plenty of logo's. I just use Freesat and Freeview, but still have loads of Sky logo's that just take up space.

There are one or two - eg Sky sports 1 & 2 (which is kind of available on FreeSat via BT or something?) , but not Sky sports 1 HD & 2 HD etc. I've not gone through the lists in detail, and also I have deleted off many channels, but in general I only notice the FreeSat channels have logos. None of the Sky HD movie channels have logos (don't know about SD as I deleted them off) , but Film 4 does.

Sky Sports is on TopUp TV, which is transmitted on DVB-T (like Freeview channels, but with encryption). However, BT have said they'll be moving from DVB-T to IP-TV at some point to lower costs. Sky Sports is not on Freesat.

Maybe you've got an earlier pack? Check the file which is there now - it contains FreeSat channels only (and looking at the number of them I don't think that even all the FreeStat logos are there)

I'd be happy to make a few of them myself, but from what I have read in various places, most of them are already made - but are not available in the pack. I actually think that the whole process of producing them could be automated to a large extent.

Consider this. There are several .xml files around containing lists of all the Sky channels. Also if you do a google image search for "'x' logo", then 9/10 times the first image found is the correct logo. There are process automation programs available, which after a bit of configuration, should be able to find all the logos from the spreadsheet, and then save them in a folder with the correct name. Then using Photoshops automation and batch features, it should be possible to edit them to the correct dimensions, size and format, and the same feature can then be used to easily create create glossy versions of all the logos.

Basically after the initial configuration, all that would be required would be to manually check for wrong or out of date logos. You could even quite easily make the program produce files for the first 3 images found, which should then virtually gaurantee that the correct logo was available when they are manually checked.

Maybe some one has thought of this already but there is a flaw in the idea that I haven't considered?

Hi Wonkyd,

Find attached some radio logo's that I had missing and don't appear in your recent zip file.. My radio setup is a mix of satellite and terrestrial - I only listen to a couple of BBC channels, but I didn't like the gaps from missing logos.

I'm looking to complete my logos - working on the Entertainment section at the moment, and the following are missing, does anyone have any of them?

If I can get a full set together, then I'll package it up and upload it somewhere.. (I use full satellite channel listing)

Alternatively is there a template (I seem to remember one once) that I can maybe try to make them - bearing in mind I am useless at anything graphical!!

Drop WonkyD a PM once you've done and ask him to add them to the pack.
That way they'll be there for the updated MPEI.
