Unable to start graph / start timeshifting... Timed out waiting for PMT (1 Viewer)

I think that I am also having this issue. Some channels tune and some don't. I had 1.01 and then the problem seemed to start. I upgraded to 1.02 but I still have the problem.

It seems that the PMT is not being found in the stream on some channels so the PIDS can't be found.

I have this issue as well. I am using 1.0.2. I have not noticed if it was present in 1.0.1. When I try to start timeshifting on one of the affected channels in COnfiguration -> Manual control it gives me an "Unable to starte graph"-error.
I tried deleting one of the channels and making a rescan, and now the channel works.

But the problem is, the channel was working for a few days after I updated to 1.0.2. but then yesterday it suddenly stopped working. So I'm afraid it might happen again.

I am getting the same error - TT1501 dvb-c card, complete removal of MP1.0.2 and re-install, new DB evrything and cant get a channel to work

After a complete re-instsll of 1.0.2 still had the same errors - tried pretty much everythng then i imported an old channel list i had scanned with 1.0.0 I think) and heypresto channels now previewing ok!

Is there somethng broken with the scann on 1.0.2 - i am using DVBC in the UK witha Technotrend C1501 card - 5.0.0.1 drivers i think.

I am prettysureifi do a scan it will revert back tounable tostart graph again so i will leave as is for now?

That was similar to my thought that the channel scanning code changed. I don't think that I have a backup so it's either reinstall 1.0 or look for the tuning data which I have tried to do. I would type it into the db if I could find it.

You could go back to 1 or 1.0.1 and re-tune, export the data and then upgrade again if there was stuff in 1.0.2 that you wanted i guess.

Seems to be a pain in the ass - i wonder what has changed?

Same error here with 1.0.2 after a clean reinstall.

I have (and had) the same problem.

When you wait a day (or maybe 2) it will all start to work again.

The problem is that he can't switch the frequency of the card (I don't know why). The channels on 1 frequency will work. When you try to change to another frequency you will get the "Unable to start graph" error

example: Since Monday night my frequency got stuck on RTL 5 (dutch television station). Now I can switch to 3 other television stations which are on the same frequency, such as SBS 6. But when I try to go to NED1 (which is on a different frequency) I get this error.

I have had this problem since I am using my FloppyDTV (cable) card in combination with MediaPortal. All the versions I have had in the past have this problem.
Versions 1.0.0, several SVN-builds, 1.0.1 and 1.0.2

Now the problem occurred since Monday night so I think it will automatically be solved this night. I will check it this evening and post my results.

I also want to find a solution because it is very annoying

Thanks sarske for the additional info. I also found out a reboot of my HPC solves the problem until the next occurance.

A full reboot doesn't always solve my problems
My sister has also the same problems. We both use a FireDTV-C with Alphacrypt and Ziggo as provider. We both have the same issues at exact the same time.

I discovered the problems yesterday when my sister called me.... She was experiencing some problems with MP since Monday night.

That is why I think it has something to do with the signal. I will also look in the logfiles tonight.

Same setup here, FireDTV-C with Alphacrypt and Ziggo. The logfiles didn't give me a clue, but that tells nothing about the info in it and all about my technical insight
