Hmm, beginning to think something is wrong with me or my computers...

Whenever I try to start LiveTV i get the error "Unable to start timeshift, Unknown Error Occur".
This also happens if I, in configuration, try to preview a channel or manually start timeshift. If I try to start a recording, nothing happens.

Logs attached, tell me if you need more.

[EDIT]Updated post with the right TVserver version and the right logs, with TVserver logs in it.

which codecs have you configured for "television" ?

there was a bug in the first release today. do you use the new build called "1.0RC1 refesh" or the initial release?

I am using the newest build yes.
And I've tried both MPV decoder and Dscaler, with same result. I thought this didn't really matter, since it is also happening in configuration.

have you used MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 before? did it work there?

in order to get your system working, i would suggest that you launch the installer again and go for a TV-Server installation. :)

Yes, I did use 0.2.3.0 where it worked. And I am using TVserver.

I missed the option in the system spec where it says "TVserver version", so I jsut wrote "TVserver RC 1" in MediaPortal version.
Now it also makes better sence why you moved both of my posts :D Sorry about that.

    oh, you use the TV-Server?

but there are no tv-server logs in the zip file... is it installed on a different PC?
please attach the logs of tv-server after you tried to watch any channel.

I think I might had the ZIP made on the client. This time I made it on the server.
I had to manually add the TVserver logs, for some reason they did not get in the ZIP when using Testtool

did you import your channels with xmltv, or did you run a channelscan?
if you "imported" the channels, then i would like to ask you to
    - delete all channels
    - run a channelscan
    - try to tune any channel after that in manual control

    error.log shows something bad

I imported from an export file I made before installing the new version.

I tried deleting all channels, and then running a scan. When it found the first channel I stopped and tried tuning it. Since it worked, I tried importing my channels again, and now it is all working.

Thanks for you help and understanding. It seems you have your hands full today :)

Guess I was a little too fast there. After trying to acces the server from one of the clients, I got the same error again: "Unable to start Timeshifting, Unknown Error Occur".
This was with my re-imported channel-list.
I have now deleted all channels again and tries to scan for channels again, to see if this is indeed the problem. Update will follow....
