Unhandled Exception error (1 Viewer)

    So Media portal started to crash when it was starting up. I suspected My-TV Series. I disabled it and no problems. I uninstalled it using the Mediaportal Extension installer, restarted and reinstalled My-TV Series. Then went into Media Portal config and enabled the plug in. I then got this error.

    The error said Value cannot be null. Parameter name: item

    Any help would be great. Is there a way to remove M-TV Series completely and then reinstall? I don't think that the way I did it works.

    Your database is corrupt, delete C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Database\TVSeriesDatabase4.db3 and try again.

    Thanks ltfearme,

    I tried this and when I reinstalled MP-TVSeries it installs, but wen I launch the configuration I get the following problem. It seems like if I uninstall TVSeries, it leaves the broken thing behiend. I even deleted my TV database. Do I need to delete all the databases (moving pictures, folder, music, etc.)

    Screenshots show after the fact, if you provide the mediaportal.log (and for that matter all files) in debug mode in a nice zip file, then it will actually show all the events leading up to the error.

    Can you confirm the way I should do this to provide the most info for you? I think you are saying I should

    1) Delete the TV database
    2) Uninstall TVSeries plugin
    3) Reboot computer
    4) Make sure that media portal is set on watchdog debug setting to catch what happens
    5) Install TVSeries plugin though the mediaportal extension installer

    From here I am not sure what to do as when I install the plug in there will be the option to launch the configuration window. If I do this I will get the screen shot that I posted before.

    Ok, I first thought you got the error from screenshot after uninstalling MP-TVSeries, but it is now clear to me you get it after step #5.

    But in short, do all the steps you did to create the error and then provide the log files, and they will reveal what is all going wrong to lead up to the problem.

    Does not even need watchdog setting, just debug verbosity.

    Thanks again. So since I posted the above picture, I have not do anything with mediaportal so I will consider the logs that I have now hopefully will have the errors. I used the debug mode to output the current logs. Here they are.

    Ok, mp-tvseries.log shows:

    These are too many and the SQL queries run out of memory.

    Is this on a fresh new database, or are you re-importing string replacements and such?

    I deleted C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Database\TVSeriesDatabase4.db3, uninstalled the TVSeries Plugin, restarted my computer, reinstalled the plugin, tried to enter the configuration of the plugin when I got the screen which I posted a few posts back. So I think that this is a fresh new database??? I wanted to just start from scratch and get TVSeries working again as the wife is waiting to watch a new show.

    I try to use the default screen settings. I did upgrade from 1.3RC to the official 1.3 and I also let it use the titan skin since this seems to be stable since it is with the official 1.3

    Should I go back to the previous skin?
