therefore i am slightly disappointed that snv's arent provided....

I don't see any recent bug reports from you regarding these issues. The best way to ensure that your problems are resolved is to report them in the bug reports section of the forum and to provide logs.

I also have a 5450 with RC1 and i can not confirm your problems!

RC1 + Cata 10.3 + SAF5 = SD / HD with no problem! (except stuttering on Sat1/Pro7 which should be fixed in RC2 rumours say)

RC1 + Cata 10.3 + SAF5 = SD / HD with no problem! (except stuttering on Sat1/Pro7 which should be fixed in RC2 rumours say)

How did you unistall the old catalyst versions? The ATI unistaller is not enough, you have to use a driver cleaner and it could be also useful to delete the old drivers from the windows driver store (pnputil.exe; google for paramterers)

Seriously, I followed the wiki guidelines for developers only to find that they were a bit out of date. Using an express edition is not easy (for me at least - maybe it isn't supported for Windows 7). It will be even more difficult for MP II.
