Im aware of fluid, good suggestion that kind of look would fit perfectly with the skin, Ill be making up something like that in the future and users can have a choice of the BasicHome Screen

If you are taking ideas on the home screen - then can I suggest a similar one to Monochrome/Indigo? I like having 4 or 5 big icons always visible - easy for the GF!
