nemrod95 I have no idea why it's white like that lol there shouldn't be any overlay at all I have attached the latest tvseries.xml just pop it in the folder and clear the cache! Let me know what happens.

I really like this skin and V0.3 works on my computer (where 0.1 and 0.2 didnt)

Only big concern is the main home screen with the V for Vendetta theme. I don't feel it fits the style of the skin overall... do you have plans to change this or is this the style you're happy with?

The basic home screen I prefer, but in order to keep the menu on screen the mouse must be positioned in the top of the screen and if it moves away (for example to click on one of the links) then it disappears... Is basic home JUST for MCE remotes or should it be compatible with mice too?

The V for Vendetta Screen can be easily changed, infact you can add your own backgrounds for any section if you wish. Just go to skin\Titanium\Media\Animations and you can see all the folders for the different backgrounds, If you have a suitable image please share it and I can include it with the skin!

The basichome menu is not made to be used with a mouse, it can be changed but its a lot of work and it makes the xml very complicated and bloated. I will eventually be making a really basic home menu as another choice.

I would like it to be really basic, with only these items:
- Movies (submenu: Play DVD)
- TV Series (no submenu)
- Music (no submenu)
- Pictures (no submenu)
- Weather (no submenu)
- Shutdown (could you show a dialog box or submenu with choices like shutdown, reboot, standby, sleep, closedown ?)

Also, how can I get the weather and rss feed to work?


I must say that I love the skin, just like everyone else here at home
It just needs some small tweaks. Let me give you some examples:
- Settings -> Pictures -> the font is way too bright for the background
- Settings -> Music -> again too bright
- the not-basic home menu doesn't feel like it's part of the skin
- TV Series: imho the banner shouldn't be shown a second time at the bottom, when browsing through the series. For me it feels like lost space.

Firstly what basichome are you referring to? The Aeon one or the new one that came with 0.3? If you had 7 menu items I could easily edit a basichome for you (are you sure you don't need something else in there lol) Otherwise it will take a fair bit of editing unfortunately.

I haven't really touched any of the settings pages or the not so basichome menu I'm aiming to address that soon so they will totally change, I really only show the selected tvseries banner to fill some space lol

Hi,

Is the skin not designed so that all the backgrounds are faded out? I thought this was deliberate as My Music screens have the same kind of faded white look.

My MP crashes in MyFilms.I have been doing some testing and think that the problem is in the file MesFilms.common.facade.xml.

All backgrounds except the tvseries fanart are designed like that I will be making a more fanart themed movie skin for the upcoming moving pictures plugin as from what I've seen the plugin will have much better fanart integration as at the moment the current mod to get fanart is pretty fiddly.
