I keep my opinion: seems to be hardware related. when i start my laptop without my usbtuner (which is the biggest hardware problem possible) tv-service doesn't start, too.
so please check with just one of the tuners... afterwards with the other one. you will hopefully find out which one makes the problems. then you can either change your hardware or try some workaround (stop server at standby, restart tuner at resume, wait, start service...)

Solved increasing to 60 seconds the service start timeout
i'll try what u just suggested
i hope that is not the dvbs tuner causing the problem, it would be the second time that i buy a card basing choice on mp docs and it create problems....

the problem after standby remain, and is caused by technotrend s2 1600 tuner

the MP team only recommend cards, but if the manufacturer decides to give crappy drivers after the card has been recommended its not MP teams fault

Do you have a Wi-fi USB dongle? My TVService doesn't work when my dongle is plugged into the PC. Once I remove it, the service starts up with no problem.

network problems can be excluded because of the trial with loopback adapter... (see above)

Yes, i have a netgear usb wifi dongle
As usualsuspect say the problem is not there, i also tried booting system without usb dongle with same results
At the moment (with 60 seconds timeout) i have a VERY slow system boot, but at least a fully working and starting tvservice...
