I do really sorry if this stupid icon upset you. I even didn't notice that I've chosen it while writing a bug report and realized just now that there "was" an icon. I really sorry I hope it won't stop you from fixing bugs. Product is really excelent, and i'm sure it will be event better than that! Yes you are right it's not vitally important to have this rectangle, but it's so misleading for regular users not to have it, whereas everywhere it's available.
Now, to be a bit more constructive, may I ask you at least to tell the direction where to look at to fix it. I could not find it myself? Or you will look yourself when will be in the mood?

forget it. Yesterday wasn't one of my best days, too much f*cked up at work.

To be honest, i never realised this before.
reason is that i rarely play Video Streams and for Music related stuff, i use the BASS player, which does't have this problem.

And secondly, i never click on the window to go fullscreen, because i use the "X" on the keyboard or the Remote control, which is faster than using the mouse.

To me it looks like that this was missing since the beginning. Need to confirm it.
I'll try to have a look into it, tough the handling of Overlay windows is normally done by another dev, which is currently on vacation.

And i myself have only 3 more dayx left before going to vacation.
so i don't know, if i'll be able to fix it.
But yes, we should find a solution for that to have consistency accross the product.

Well I can give 100% it was working until I installed RC1. Stable release is working definately, and all SVN's I tried untill May 2007 were also fine. Since May I did not install any other SVN vesrion untill RC1 was annonced. So something has been f*cked within last month or two.
It's not urgent, and can of course wait few weeks, but I just don't want this problem to be forgotten. IMHO it should be fixed before stable release annoncement.

One more question to you if I may: is there any plans to fix VMR9 for stream video? It's sooo buggy that i cannot rely on it. On the other hand with VMR7 I cannot use any OSD stuff.

ah ok, then it woukld be nice, if you could tell me the last SVN you had it working. i know it#s hard to find out, but maybe it's possible. i'll grab one myself and try.

re VMr9 issue.
you're talking to the wrong person.
i'm doing Music stuff only.
maybe you should open a dedicated thread on that with detailed description about what is buggy.

Edit: Ok, found it. was introduced by a change that i did on May, 22nd. need to find out the reason.

hm, i went back to SVN 14682 and identified the code causing the troubles.
made it work again.
however when i do the same correction in current SVN the problem is not fixed.
must be something else now.
But what??

he, you were cheating a bit.
didn't work for Stable release as well, if you have chosen the BASS player as your default Music Player.
Took me nearly a day now to find out what was the problem, but now i got the bitch.

Hopefully your wife can now watch TV again.
