Thank you for your reply. I did that already. I do not see any settings there which colud be an answer for my questions. I use the "stock" VMS shipped with MP 1.6.

Thank you I overlooked the "only TV" as I expected new entries only in the below section
But still I cannot stop VMS cropping my picture for overscan It crops from 1 up to 8 pixels from HDTV even if I set "overscnan" to 0 in the rules and "max crop limit" to "0"
but I can live with that.

Can you attach the logs for that situation ?

Do you have black-bar detection enabled ?
