I'd really like to try this with mp 1.0. But I'm a little confused as to what versions or patches I might need to get the best from it. Could someone please post a set of links to a recommended set of downloads? Oh and if possible a config file suitable for UK PAL based TV...

Hi,

those are a matter of personal taste. The settings you will find inside this thread are a good start, however. Just play with them and adapt them to your liking, you will soon get into this.

I can confirm that the frame grabbing in VMS stopped working with the newest SNV "MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot:-02-15-2009 12-22h - Revision:21720". I also included my logs.

MP1.0, then use the one from the first page, the newer one is to add support for Non-linear stretch which is available in newer svns, but is currently broken with autocrop functions.

General question.
I want to use this plugin to compensate overscan for SD TV-broadcast while leaving HD untouched.
As this plugin also seems to apply settings for the myideo section how can you handle that DVDs (which have no overscan) stay untouched and only TV-broadcasts are modified? Problem is that 720x576 is used for broadcasts and DVD.
