Thats intresting, I have a 8600GTS and had stuttering problems yesterday after a fresh install, in my case it turned out I had forgottern to switch from the default MVP codec back to Nividia Purevideo. I have the 'Inverse Telecine' option enabled and with Purevideo codecs I have no problems.

What is the reason that should be disabled?

    Hi Eabin

Do not know whether you have noticed, from your added svn 18105 fix for evr, Vista you now get speeded up playback, once you have used FF\RWD in video play.

Here's a link containing logs if it helps https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/0-2-3-0-final-svn-builds-227/my-videos-problem-ffwd-37093/

Not sure whether this may only effect Vista, but it also has a side effect of skipping frames in WMP (jerky, nothing smooth)

If you need anything off me let me know.

    Cheers

I have XP SP3 installed on a Gigabyte 780G-Board with Radeon 3200 graphics and NET 3.0, so I can use EVR.

With EVR activated I get a little screen tearing if I watch TV and movies (Xvid, H264... all kinds of formats) within Movie Portal.

But if I use Media Player Classic Cinema I have no tearing at all with EVR activated! So is this an error in Mediaportal?

I am trying to get MediaPortal up and running on my new HTPC w/ Vista SP1 installed on it, and I am having a problem with the video.

I have EVR checked in the MP Config is that all that I have to do?

It appears as though a row of pixels from the bottom shows up on the top. The same goes for the left and right. Is there a way to solve this? I don't get this in VMC.

    Please help.

Please, post you system specs. To me it sounds like a driver issues.

I was having this problem show up in the previous version of MPC-HC, but once I upgraded to V1.1 it went away. I will try posting a screenshot of the problem later tonight.
