I've reported the issue to NVidia but I'm afraid my report is pretty thin.
Which version of DirectX do we use in MP1 again? DX9?

DX9 is used in Mediaportal 1.

Have another issue since the last updates but only affects first playback with black screen and only time of movie displayed.
Once I stop the playback and start it again it works fine from that point on.

Have you reported it at the nvidia forum? If Thats the case, can you post a link please?

It's not an open forum it's a private ticketing system. So no links I'm afraid.

You can run games with a slightly older driver it's no big deal really :)

Still on 359.0 as the newer one breaks Star Wars Battlefront, did a clean install of Windows 10 (with roll-up 1) and most of the old problems are gone except the on first playback issue (think it's caused by SLI somehow)

Are you saying you had the issue described in this thread but it was fix after Windows re-installation?
You did not fill in your System Specs.
    What's your GPU?
