If the TV is the primary display, the windows desktop(icons, start menu, programs) will appear on the TV instead of the monitor. Am I right?
    no you are wrong :)

if you use "expand" the taskbar and the icons will only appear on the primary display device.

but i hope that you use "clone" for the display configuration.
with clone you will get all icons and the taskbar on both screens.

try editing the MediaPortal.xml file in notepad.

    Thanks!! That worked! :D

When you plan to release full support for the remote?

Soon, its all working on my test machine at home. Keys still need to be worked out.

I had some of the keys as letters but that doesn't work so well when you start typing in a page. :p

WebBrowser is displayed on Primary and Secondary Display

I just got home and tried zje WebBrowser on my Test PC with this configuration:

    MediaPortal 0.2RC1 latest CVS-Snapshot
    .net framework 2
Radeon X800 with cataclyst control center
    Primary Display: Monitor
    Secondary Display: TV
    Clone Mode

and its working like a charm! Webbrowser is displayed on both devices!

This means that the Mozilla ActiveX Control is not the reason for the problems of some users.

Its got to do with layering Windows Forms over a DirectX app...something obviously Windows doesn't like very much. But nice to know its possible - although I think the guy who was asking originally wanted to be able to have MP on his secondary display, and do other stuff on his primary display (i.e. not clone the screen onto both monitors).

when you use "clone" it shouldnt be a problem to set the TV as Primary Display Device and the Monitor as Secondary Display Device.
    That must fix the problem.

The TV is locked at 1024x768 as a clone and my primary screen is 1280x960.
The secondary display cant be larger than the primary display.
