I installed MPW on my server and integrated it into the existing Apache installation. But I can't get it to work!
I tried different types (sub directory of existing host, named based VirtualHost, normal port based VirtualHost) but nothing affected the symptoms.
In the service.asmx page I get this error at most commands:
Code:System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at MPECP2WS.ECP2WS.GetChannels()
index.php in the webscheduler directory remains blank and php error log says:
Code:[13-Jul-2006 23:22:36] PHP Fatal error: require_once() [<a>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'SOAP/Client.php' (include_path='.;c:\programme\php\pear\') in R:\Daten\Webserver7even\MPW\webscheduler\functions\webservice.php on line 7
I looked at this script and didn't understand how this path should work - as there is no subdirectory named 'SOAP' .. but I think I'm missing the point and there should be a mechanism to substitute this..
So, have i forgotten to install s. th.?
What I've done:
- Installed MPW
- Moved MPW to existing Apache directory
- Integrated this directory in httpd.conf (in different ways see above)
- Installed ASP.NET from this installer I found somewhere in the dirs..
- Corrected $hostname and $hostport in webservice.php
- didn't found any Client.php anywhere (??)
..now I'm really confused and tired - it hadn't helped that multiple things interrupted me while doing the above - and I will stop to think about and look at it tomorrow.
Appreciating any help!

Ah huaah - done this! .. and now this part works!samuel337 said:There's nothing wrong with the SOAP/Client.php file - it exists in the php/PEAR folder. You may need to install it into your apache/php installation manually if you are not using the standard installation. Alternatively, use PEAR to install the SOAP extension into PHP.
Oh yes, I checked this twice yesterday and it not only was checked, but it was checked and deactivated! (now I have to wait, until my girl friend stops looking TV and I will check it again.. )samuel337 said:Go into MP Configuration -> Plugins and check that the External Control Plugin II is enabled.
