It works fine. I use power dvd 8 as my codec. Best codec by far for me. Get a constant 50fps and excellent picture quality. For me better than saf & ffdshow, but each to their own, give them all a try see what looks best for you they also were good for me before I found power DVD.

Just for info I'm displaying on a 40" led now at 1920x1080 at 50fps no drops

Sounds like I just found myself an Xmas gift :) Where did you buy your Nanostick?

Just out of curiousity, how many and what HD channels do you have in UK? In Sweden we have two freeview HD channels, and a couple of payment channels.

Are you sure you are using MP with NanoStickT2? Over here my nanostick atleast gets detected as DVB-T/C card and can't tune any of the -T2 channels.

    Cheers,

how many and what HD channels do you have in UK?

We currently have four Freeview HD channels although these are only available in areas that have switched off analogue terestrial TV and also in the area covered by the Crystal Palace transmitter (which does not turn of analogue until 2012).

They are BBC1 HD, BBC HD, ITV1 HD and Channel 4 HD.

It is unlikely there will be many more in the foreseable future due to the current economic climate and lack of DVB-T/T2 bandwidth. I understand Channel 5 HD were due to have one of the HD slots but couldn't afford to do so so the BBC used it instead.

I'd love to find a card first, price wouldn't worry me too much. Has anybody found one?
But with regards to other posts I do see why manufacturers would choose not to make them if it's just the uk that have taken this format on.

Is there no way round this problem?

There is TBS6280 PCIe DVB-T2/T Dual Tuner card available for UK Freeview HD reception.

I am also keeping my eyes on TBS 6280P CIe DVB-T2/T Dual Tuner card. As the manufacturers said, it would be specially designed for UK freeview reception. (Freeview HD supporting) . what i am worried about is TBS 6280 is a new kit. I am not sure the performance is as good as Blackgold DVB T2 card. Anyway, I am so pleased more competitors in developing DVB T2 card.

I installed one of these yesterday, and it is working fine. My initial impressions are that this is a great card!

It seems that if the audio type changes during a program, then sound simply stops. However, you can stop and resume your recording or turn live TV off/on to get sound back.

I will be working with the team and the card manufacturer over the next few weeks to sort this, assuming that someone doesn't already have a fix for this issue.

Mark - I guess you're using the DivX or Mainconcept AAC codec as prescribed?
