i guess you mean the miniEPG??? it#s still there. mapping has changed and it was removed from the context menu if thats the point where you miss it..
it's now "ok" on MCE remote respectivly "Enter" on your keyboard where back in the past the "switch to last channel"function was(it's on "0" now by the way)
hope that helped, but if i were you, i would read the SVN-"changelog" beofre upgrading - so that surprises like this don't happen anymore (-;
Right you are!
Very good feature, but only for those who do know the shortcut (enter key).
That's why I would like to see this feature also being available from context menu again. In addition to the enter-function.
This way people who know the shortcut can use it quickly and other who don't know the shortcut,
or just are used to use context-menu can use it, too.
My father for instance is used to select everything via context-menu and he always starts the context-menu
and after wondering where the Mini-EPG was gone, he remebers about the new shortcut and needs to leave context-menu
to press enter and get the Mini-EPG.
I think noone would be bothered, having Mini-EPG in context-menu again in addition to the function to call it using enter-key.
When I last checked the miniEPG always popped up at the first channel, regardless of what you were viewing. But the main Guide opens with you at the current channel (much more intuitive). Is this still the case, or has it been improved now ?
If I can't do anything against this function I would at least like you to have the MiniEPG to automatically have selected the last-viewed channel.
To make it for my easier to do it without the old function.
I'm downsizing my big honkin' HTPC case to a mini PC, which means the tried and true Hauppauge Colossus card that bridges the set top box into Mediaportal needs replaced with a different solution.
I currently have HDMI from the STB to the colossus. Mediaportal is controlling the STB through a USBUIRT blaster and the blaster is...

I've no idea if this is possible or in the works but I am wondering if the IPTV part of TVServer could be upgraded to support M3U8, HTTPS, HLS or whatever is needed for newer IPTV connections?

It's getting weirder.....
If I remove all the IP cards in the TVServer setup and then add them back I can scan the M3u and tune the stations but if I rescan it on the same card it just keeps updating the 1 channel. My brain is melting.........
