I can access my server via web mp with the adress of my dyn dns service on port 4322.
I will try http instead of https but so far I could at least wake my server (with ampdroid) with www.example.com but then it says unable to connect.
I use a avm fritzbox 7360, stated my hostname as example.com instead of www.example.com nor http://exapmle.com nor https://example.com
and that works for the access of web mp with www.example.com:4322

wath setings do you have in mpextended ? if i connect to my webmediaportal i conect tru port 80 whitch is specified in mpextended.

check you setings in mpextended streaming port shoud be 4322 and in webmediaportal 80 (if you dont want to use port after dyn name)

the connect to webmediaportal tru the port specified in webmediaportal not service in mpextended.

restart booth services after changing the ports ..(mpextended services/mpextended webm...)

after changing the settings try open http://127.0.0.1

But I have no problems connecting my server via web mp.
I want to set up ampdroid on my phone to connect my server from outside my wifi network.

Allright - so what ports should I forward then in my router to access web mp with an adress without the ports at the end?

I want to set up ampdroid on my phone to connect my server from outside my wifi network.

You can also use VPN. I have also a Fritz!Box and it works fine.
At AVM there is a fine documentation how to setup a VPN between an Android device and the Fritz!Box. After establishing the VPN you can use aMPDroid with the same configuration that works within your internal network.

like i sad in the post earlier open upp the mpextended configurator and check that the port under webmediaportal is set to 80 and under services that the streaming port is set to 4322.

restart the services and try to conect to http://127.0.0.1 (on the same computer) if you get to the login page then it is working.

the open port 80 and 4322 in the router the it shoud work from your phone ..

    Nope. Here's what I did:
    set ports in mpextended like you said (port 80 was 8080 by default and 4322 was already set);
    tried http://127.0.0.1 which worked
tried to access web mp which does now not work anymore neither with the pure adress nor with any port addition

And what do you mean by open ports?
As I understand this I forward them and therefore I have to state which port should be forwarded by the router to which port.

first do you use wlan on your phone ? if you do try connect to the ip of the server whith ampdroid if that works and not the dyn ip then your router having trubel whith loopback of dyndns addres (mine do to im not abbel to connect to my dyn in my local lan linksys router)

if it works whith your server ip then disable wlan on phone and change to dyn address.

and yes port forward is the right term :) i Think .

port 80 to inbound 80 server ip
port 4322 to inbound 4322 server ip
