an idiot proof guide where to copy what and what to configure?

Thanks in advance,

Rico

    Hi

As I've installed and am happy with MilkDrop, if you want to send me your notes via conversation, I'd be happy to work with you on documentation.

    Cheers - J

PS - bad English - I've tried to learn German 3 times and failed miserably, so believe me, your English is not bad at all.

    J.

The issue I always had with vis in MP is that it was out of sync with the music and thus not so nice to watch. :(

IIRC @hwahrmann explained that this had to do with how the external vis is included into our renderer. I'd really like to see improvements in that section. ;)

Milkdrop 2 does not work correctly in MP 1.4

Tried it on two clients with no luck. Tried with Bass, Asio and Wasapi, but still no beat recognition. Also tried with latest version and 2.4 version. Tempted to revert to MP 1.3 just to get this facility working.

that's fail what you tell me..
go here and load a Sample song.. http://www.testsounds.com/

After that load my sample on this thread
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/attachments/sample-rar.131421/

check the beat in realtime with milk2 or other plugin.
    so the beat is accurate.

    why not in MP!
    1. my library is not 100% implement in MP
    2. many think's ignored and not implement
    3. MP lost the focus on the window so you can never use 60 FPS per sec.
    4. what do think you can see in realtime, beat with frame per second of 24?
    5. Plugin should not used DirectX surface for render. combination of DirectX/OpenGl or GDI+ is a bad things
    6. correct implementation of my library should fix the frame rate to more then 70
    7. Do not render on DirectX surface this will stolen more then 50% of frame rate.
    8. use my library on the right way draw the visualization on a Window which has a HWND and all your problem are gone.
    conclusion:
work with my library on the right way and all your problem are gone.
Also not external vis fails.. in fact MP fails since more then 5 year i have call many often for this mistake

    PS:
    my winamp plugin https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/attachments/2-png.132304/
has never work since MP i'm used. i have tell why see my list

    fix it:
    remove my wrapper
    load sourcecode of Milk2
    put it into MP
    and good is. :)

@BassFan I don't quite get what you are trying to tell me.

Up until the last time I used MP + any vis, it was out of sync.

Did you try to say that your implementation does not suffer from that issue? :)

unofficial update the visualization of MP1.4
    they secure the old files
    before replacing them.
use at your own risk (do not use wasapi) all other should work

remove upload added other Archiv for testing..

Installed the dll's and with Cirith Ungol's version of Toccata in D, seems to works like a charm - nice on BassFan.

    Cheers - JCMP
