is this a bug and will maybe fixed in one of the next versions or is that "normal" and has to do with changes to tvserver? and another question: is it possible to install mp 1.5 final and use this with tvserver from mp 1.3 (as a kind of workaround)?

Have you tried to disable all TVServer plugins to see if the shutdown went faster?

Those are the ones that are coming with MP: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...figuration/TV-Server_Configuration/13_Plugins

Just check TVServer Config -> Plugins to see which ones you have enabled.

none of the plugins is enabled. i use win8 and i had the problem with mp 1.4 (i didnt test mp 1.5 pre)

The problem is still there. With TVServer running, Win shutdown is approx. 32 secs.
When I stop TVServer manually, then shutdown Win, it takes about 10 secs
