Well, I've set up things following your instructions on a dedicated MP machine without TV functionality but WITH ad harddisk.

It's now more than 60 minutes since I heard the reassuring <<CLUNK>> when BIOS shut down my harddisk, and I haven't noticed any drive activity since.

Installation procedure was flawless.

So you used a smaller drive?
installed windows and everything you needed to C put MP on D (anything else) maybe my docs or something?

and did the ewf on c drive?

so basicly it lods everything OS wise from ram, and then only uses the drive when MP is needed?

    Also, I was wondering what sort of "switch on to usable" speed you were getting from your frontend box?
    Anything approaching 10 seconds would be fantastic! I've got it down to about 20 secs, but I think that your way might produce an even faster front end boot!
