To install unzip the .dll file to the plugins/process folder. I'm not sure why it is showing up twice but seems to be working for me.

Just copy it to your plugins/process folder and you should be able to test and configure it.

I replaced the old dll with the new version, but it seems it doesn't work anymore.

Do I have to delete the xml file? Winlirc is still active and working (I can configure the plugin) but then it is like if in media portal nothing happens.

Remote software for WinTV with WinLIRC compatible server

Hi all,

kind of OT, but some people here might be interested in my WinLIRC clone for WinTV cards. Using this, you could use this plugin here on WinTV boards with ease. It has reached its public beta stage today and is open source.

Nice! I will have to give it a try when I get home. Is it able to learn new commands too or only use the ones from the Hau remote?

A IRC user did get the WinLIRC plugin and the Hauppauge remote bridge (winLIRC version) to have a fully customizable Hauppauge remote working in MediaPortal.

So that was the trick

But now I have another problem.. not sure if it is related to your plugin:
I can configure almost everything I need but one thing, keys on the context menu. Basically if I select an item and open the context menu (where for example I can select to delete it) there the remote is not working anymore. I cannot even exit.
What I understood from the plugin description, if there are no commands configured for a specific section (see for example FullScreen Video), the general command are used, so if I have the ESC key mapped to a remote button, it should work on the context menu too, but it is not.

Do you have any idea?
