Thank you for the quick reply. I don't know how the double / got in there, Chrome must just ignore it as I tried each of the URLs in Chrome to make sure they were valid.

I have the xml file in c:\program files (x86)\team-mediaportal\mediaportal. Is that not where it belongs?

You must place this file into the directory "c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal" (see chapter 5.3 of the included manual).

I actually ended up having it in both locations, but they had the // in them as well. I fixed it in Programdata and deleted the other. It is now working perfectly. Thanks for the assist.

Dear community,
attached at the first post of this thread you can find a new nightly build v0.5.8 for testing purposes.
This version contains the following fixes, enhancements and new functionalities:

• enhancements to image MIME type and image location type detection (local/network/web), e.g. URL related prefixes like http:// or ftp:// are not required anymore (but preferred)
• exception fix for configuration related location detection routines
• additional geo clock image option to display current or all available weather locations (Hint: locations can only displayed correctly, if you use the included geo clock image or other valid mercator maps)

For a complete list of changes since last official version, please consult the included manual.

This version contains all fixes or new functionalities from my current backlog item list. Because of this I would like to invite you to post new ideas, bug reports or requests for new plugin functionalities. The discussion about feasibility and benefits can follow after my biweekly business trip. If there is no feedback from the community, the next version v0.6.0 will published as soon as possible.

Hello, before portal updated to the last version 0.5.0.0 for average 1.2.0.0 the starry sky was appearing perfectly, but now already it does not appear at all on the screen, I have 3 cabins of the card selected astronomy and as location " http: // www.astronomie.de/Images/Himmelaktuell/obssky1.gif " automatic resolution of the zodiac.

first: A big thanks angain for this plugin.
However, I have an idea for an additional feature; no clue, how difficult it is to realize, so just treat it as idea:

As it becomes more and more difficult to find beautiful gifs for example for satellite views, but very easy to find satellite pics:
Would it be possible for your plugin to download and save a picture lets say evey 15 or 30 Minutes, keep lets say up to 10 or 20 of the last pictures (FIFO) and display them like a diashow in an endless loop? That would make it possible to have this nice feature of previous versions of for example the ZDF pages again...

As I mentioned, just an idea if it is not too complicated...
