Re: WorldWeather plugin v0.2.5 for MediaPortal v1.2.0 or higher

This was not displaying any data yesterday for Adelaide. But is working today. Tried Bleazle's location and it's working again.

http://www.google.com/ig/api?weather=(Your Location) with no brackets
Put above in web browser with you own location & if it returns full page of info your loction is working.

Cheers:D

At the risk of sounding like a cracked record... Can anyone give an update as to where we are at with updating the current inbult weather application?

It's currently dead, thats why post above yours.

This plugin is working here again now on both of my setups - amazing what a reboot can do! No idea why they both went down yesterday but it's good not to have to look out the window to see what the weather is doing :D

Micropolis is going to have a lot of reading to do when he gets back from his break...

blair_haynes if you look at the above post Delusion stated there would have to be an open source solution. Which doesn't seem to be an option anymore. Which means like the XBMC group all weather will be plug-in based from now on. This one is pretty good and Micropolis just threw it together before he went on vacation. He called it a rough version. It will only get better once he has the time to work on it. Does it not work for you. It works pretty good here accept for the lat. and long. shows my days are only a minute long. other than that works pretty good.

Great work, I was really missing weather info!

    3 questions/remarks:
1: (Skinrelated) In black glass I don't see any satelite images, they're probably outside the screen
2: (Skinrelated) In black glass the "current" forecast isn't shown, I only see the next 4 days
3: At the top of most of the windows in mediaportal, near the time and date, N/A°F is shown instead of the current temperature. Is there a setting I missed?

Edit: And a fourth one: What's the idea with the choice of webbrowser plugin?
