Did you really read the first post carefully:

Well, yes, i did, but there comes no .mpe1 files, just a zip which contains a lot of files I dont know how to handle.

Wonder if your browser does not like the file format and changes it to zip, seen that done before now.

Hi Guys , Even if the MPE1 file change to Zip ,still can be use like this : stend on the zip file> right click>open with>select from list > MpeInstaller ..... work fine and will install corect... :)

Yes, on MP Plugin pages .mpe1 extension is changed to .zip when downloading at least with IE which I believe is really annoying for normal users. I wonder if forcing content type or something on server side would help.

Best thing to do is uninstall IE9 ;)

Or install Firefox, Chrome, Opera etc. I tried it here on IE8 shows up as .zip but renamed it to .mpe1 and worked. I can confirm works with Firefox my default browser.:D

Is this plugin supporting StreamedMP skin? I always get missing .xml message.

would it show the quick weather info on the right top of MP?

i really miss the weather infos :(

I just copied the included .xml files into the skin folder for StreamedMP and it's working nicely. It's not 100%, but it's better than nothing.

Just copy the .xml files for language and the three beginning with 'worldweather' into the same folders that you would for the default skin and you should have the basic functionality. I didn't/wouldn't copy the home .xml's just yet as they're designed for a different skin.

    Hi,

I just adjusted the Skin Files for StreamedMP. Just copy the xml files to %allusersprofile%\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP.

You can add the WorldWeather Plugin to the Basic Home Screen with the BasicHome Editor (See screenshot).

This are just the files for the plugin. I am not sure if it is possible to change the StreamedMP BasicHome Skin files to use the Information from the WorldWeather Plugin to display that in the top right. Or are there already adjustments for StreamedMP?

The only generic adjustments for SMP is the general weather setting. You can turn it on or off and tweak a few options, etc... that's about it. But I'm sure it can be worked out.

    Dear all,

now added to the Black Glass skin mod a satellite view. In addition, I extended the opportunity to start BrowseTheWeb plugin with parameter website related to the selected satellite view.

For proper function of the skin need to be adapted according to current parameters WorldWeather plugin - mod is intended only for experienced users!

You can download skin files here.

Re: WorldWeather plugin v0.2.5 for MediaPortal v1.2.0 or higher

    Hello everyone,

Sorry but I am having a little trouble setting this up. I'm using MP1.2 on win 7 home edition. I have attached a pick of my current profile. I am not getting any weather data with this profile. Is my city correct? I am in San Luis Obispo, CA, USA

Also if someone could give me a web site where I might find satellite images that would be great. I was never able to get this working with the old weather interface.

thats a nasty one...server forces *.mpe1 to download but the script has its own mind with IE under special circumstances...
added a dirty workaround to the repo-script, can anyone with IE try again please?
