Re: WorldWeather plugin v0.2.5 for MediaPortal v1.2.0 or higher

    Hello everyone,

Sorry but I am having a little trouble setting this up. I'm using MP1.2 on win 7 home edition. I have attached a pick of my current profile. I am not getting any weather data with this profile. Is my city correct? I am in San Luis Obispo, CA, USA

Also if someone could give me a web site where I might find satellite images that would be great. I was never able to get this working with the old weather interface.

    Steve

For now, until some of the code can be reworked (there is something off in the Lat and Long conversion routines), use whole numbers in the lat. and long., and leave off any city code or description, include the state in the city name (San Luis Obispo, CA). the plugin should be able to get the info then.

These US maps may do for a while, till you find something more useful.

Hi ysmp, you´re right regardng the GeoClock
Can´t confirm the overlapping of buttons by sat images - what resolution do you have? The zooming is done to center coordinates, a wrong resolution will lead to wrong center display ;)
Here the corrected files and screenshot of zoomed sat image :)

thats a nasty one...server forces *.mpe1 to download but the script has its own mind with IE under special circumstances...
added a dirty workaround to the repo-script, can anyone with IE try again please?
Worked for me in IE8 (and Chrome and Opera but IIRC it worked before in those browsers)

Yes, on MP Plugin pages .mpe1 extension is changed to .zip when downloading at least with IE which I believe is really annoying for normal users. I wonder if forcing content type or something on server side would help.

Seems to download OK in IE9 on my machine. I don't have an install with IE8 to test if that works or not.
