must've missed this question earlier.... will add that you should try and make sure the images you put in there are 1280x720 resolution otherwise they might look awful when the skin resizes them

Hi all, Firstly may how say how much i am enjoying this skin, looks good!!!. if i can help with the theme let me know which sreens need doing, i have attached my musicvideos screen as i didnt like it as it was (just drop into skin dir..

Edited and added progress dialogue & dialoguealbuminfo. drop graphic into media folder and xmls in skin folder.

How would i go about useing the my videos setup from this skin and put it into a differnt skin?
I love the videos page for this skin but becuase it is not compleat i was wondering if there was a way to move it to another skin??

m0rt added the skin to svn, so we can work on the skin at the same time Hopefully the development will go faster!

Anyways, we got two home menu's (one I made and the other m0rt made) and the one m0rt made is much superior and we gonna stick with that and going to change the other menu so it will display 5 items vertically (the only way you can list in mediaportal). Gonna think how to do that

The menu m0rt made is fixed so you cannot add a plugin without changing the xml. Do we need to change the order or add something? The order at the moment:
Music
Movies
Pictures
Music Videos
TV Shows
Extras (plugins)

I think we need to add 'weather' and 'tv', maybe 'settings', 'play dvd' or 'my radio'

Another issue is copyright protected material, otherwise we cannot add it to the mediaportal website. Maybe we need to release it without the backgrounds (makes the file much smaller ) and release a pack with only backgrounds (you need to add it manually).

Yes!
I would release it without the backgrounds and just link to the xbmc xephyr backpacks.
They contain plenty of image files that people could use.

This skin is a really great idea. It brings "fan art" to all sections of Media Portal. I've been sitting here collecting and editing images for all of my sections and it really allows you to personalize MP like never before.
