Where can I find this skincachefolder? My configuration tells me I am using version 0.9.2.0 instead of 1.6?

"Realy imprtant : If you have installed a early version of the skin, please delete it first and be sure you have deleted also the skincachefolder of the skin. Without that the skin uses the old gfx."

    Cache folders are located here:

    Win XP
    C:\Documents and settings\All Users\Application data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache
    Vista
    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache

    These are hidden folders,
so make sure that they are visible.

    error message !!??

    Hi!

I installed Xface and MP generates a red window with an error message, so I had to uninstall the skin.

MediaPortal is set to run at pc startup. I press the start button on the case, start the tv and everything is working. But I cannot use Xface due to this error message, which needs to be cleared manually, using a mouse click, so I have to use the mouse at every startup. The pc sits in the lounge behind the tv cabinet, I would like so much for this skin to work as all the others, without requiring a mouse click.

what can I do to avoid the red error message I get from MediaPortal?

I used MP 1 RC1, I installed RC2 which did not work well for me, I uninstalled RC2 and re-installed RC1, and then Xface. Could be that MP still thinks is RC2 and complains about Xface being designed for RC1 ?? I uninstalled keeping settings, logos, etc, as I did not want to lose all the recorded shows. It happened before...
