I can consistently not install the skin after a clean RC2 + immediate SVN install however.

This should be fixed in SVN 16067.

I just found out a quick fix for everyone tired of having their Jewel Case/DVD Case frames zooming out of sync with the cover art. It's a quick and dirty fix, and personally I think it still looks damn good.

Delete all the frames! go in the skin folder, delete (or rename, as I did) all the pictures that are CD Jewel cases frames or DVD cases. Then obviously go delete the skin cache. You won't get any frame, so it will look like the Filmstrip view for videos in SpinSafe Revolve, and nothing is out of sync, looks much more professional like this, even if it implies sacrificing the nifty frame effect.

I also changed another thing, I thought the boxes around every coverart in icons/big icons view was overkill, and when one was highlighted, the text below became unreadable. So I replace the 'focus' image with the 'no focus' one for these boxes, and didn't replace it, so no 'no focus' image. I think it looks much better like that.

I can finally say I'm perfectly happy with this skin, it's a keeper, at last

I realized the problem(s) I was having was due to the Vista directory issue (MediaPortalDirs.xlm).

What a beautiful skin. Thanks for your hard work.

I ran into a couple of issues:

1. In Movie, Film strip mode, I can't right-mouse-click (it doesn't do anything)
2. In basic home screen, using the mouse scroll, I can only pick Plug-in and Photo, but I was able to pick everything else using the keyboard arrow keys.

Just one small issue with the TV-Series plugin. The Progress bar during scans appears behind the the spin buttons down the bottom right hand corner. Would be nicer to se them in the black area beneath the banners.

Small problem:
When playing a video playlist, I cant get to the playlist controls (like shuffle) since the playlist content is covering the whole screen.

Next time ? in version 1.0 is the textfield covered with the pics

Have you still the "freezing"?
Try to "downgrade" the Ati Catalyst to 7.2, that solved the problem for me.
Have not got an answer why.
