May be it's too late, but i was working on a new design for home screen (not the basic one)... it still needs to be overworked, but it's just an idea... may be that it's useful.

That looks awesome! Please include that as soon as possible because that is one of the reasons I did not like the V1.0 very much.... With that new home screen and an improved EPG in LiveTV, I will switch to this new screen immediately!

Nice one on the fullscreen OSD stuff Harley, Its just getting better and better

However, Harley. I have a personal request that you finish the scheduled recordings, and recordings pages untill tomorrow or friday ?

I am getting myself a new HTPC tomorrow, and I promised my father my old one.
He use Mediaportal as a PVR and DVD-player only and need the recording pages..
I would like to put xface on his HTPC before I send it away.

The new playlist screen is broken.. Says the mymusicplaylist.xml is broken or missing.. i know its not missing so it has to be broken somehow.. ive tested it with latest svn(HTPC with xp) and on clean RC2(laptop with vista). Same thing happens. Guess ill just copy the one from the older version for now.

Edit:

Found another.. If you have a movie running in the little TV frame and stop it, a black square stays put untill you restart MP or Activate the TV frame again. Got it to go away by playing a song, so it apperantly is just a problem related to films and not music files.

btw i almost feel bad for posting problems allready.. makes me feel like im a really whiny person ^^

yep! i have the same problem. somthing seems to be broken in the mymusicplaylist.xml . with the old xml it runs.

I have some comments on the EPG of V1.1:
1. The vertical time line is not visible. Therefore it is really hard to see where exactly in the EPG you are at the moment. A vertical line in light blue would be nice.

2. I think the text size is too small. It is hard to read the EPG from 2.5m distance. I think it would be better to have 2 lines less but instead a bigger font size.

Other than that, I have to say this new skin is great!
