    hi bobn4burton,

the story about svn is that it represents the latest development status of mediaportal and may contain errors and bugs that won't be in so called "stable builds" or patches...

but nevertheless if you want to give it a try you can simply copy your current mediaportal installation into another folder (f.e. MediaportalSVN) and apply the svn builds on that copy (you have to choose the installation path for the svn at the time you install the svn-snapshot)... it should work and shouldn't break your stable installation of mp...

    hope that helps,

    regards mofux

    great skin!!

quick question, does anyone else get a nasty flicker when viewing the on screen guide? Often the guide quickly flickers making it hard to read..

    Great skin Santa Harley !

    Minor bug though (I guess):
The provided TvSeries.xml doesn´t work for me (can anyone confirm this?). It just shows an empty screen in MyTvseries. I also noticed, that the "old" Tvseries Plugin was enabled again (disabled it). This might also come from the svn I was using (dec, 6th).
After copying the xml provided with the plugin, the skin showed the series, but....let´s say all the graphics didn´t match and were misplaced. Well, was worth a try....

So, can anyone confirm problems with MyTvseries or is it just me ?

bobn4burton - Also note: Depending on the plugins you are using, with SVN releases, they could "break" a plug you like or are depending on to keep WAF high. Just be forewarned!

Cool thanks for the info! So all of the MP settings are withing the main installatin folder...? That makes it quite easy if MP doesn't depend on the registry for different settings!

I'm going to make a backup folder that I can play with the newest SVN and the Xmas Skin 2006 right now!

    flicker in MyTV

    Hello everyone,

I like this skin, but I also got that flicker on the MyTV and EPG screen.
The whole background is switching from white to animation and back.
I use latest SVN from Today.

    Could someone help?

Is anyone redeveloping this for compliance with RC2? I tried this the other day and a few of the pages did not work. I am assuming it was due to changes since last year.
