I updated Youtube again. Should work for now.

If you read the thread you'll see that I said a few times that Youtube keeps changing their decryption methods slightly on a daily bases, so it's playing cat and mouse.

Yeah i read that, so i guess a perminent fix isnt on the horizon?
guess i will have to use a youtube video downloader which is a shame i would like to be able to use mediaportal.

I started getting this error on one of my two MP instances. Another one works fine with the same videos, same MP and plugin versions.
I tried reinstalling the plugin, deleting its config and recreating it from scratch (just copying and pasting it from the working one). I am hitting my head against the desk all long weekend but still have no idea what is wrong here. Please advise.

Are youtube changing there decryption even if you use there API to get videos from them?

Youtube does not offer the direct links to the video streams via the API (ofc they want you to visit the html page to show ads...) so we have to scrape those out of the html/js. Up to that point we can use API calls.

With OnlineVideos 1.8 - the signature is now directly decrypted with the javascript file from YouTube, so the vevo videos should play again.
