Finally got round to start fiddling with this plugin. Got the main stuff working. When browsing video's everything's working. However, when i enter a search term mp starts hanging. This happens both with the normal virtual keyboard as well as the sms-style keyboard.

I figured out that this only happens when i use my pc-keyboard to fill out the search. When using a touch screen or mouse, there's no problem at all! Luckily i only use my pc-keyboard for testing purposes (normal operation is done using touchscreen).
Still, could this error be looked at? TIA!

This plugin has so much promise. If i might make a suggestion, make a full youtube plugin out of it, with the current focus as a link and/or another selectable plugin. It works much better than a plugin like onlinevideos, since you get a better way of browsing through videos. After selecting a video you get related videos etc. which is a much better way of using it with your remote. If you focus on a complete plugin, then this might even get better.
Before this, i always just alt-tabbed to my browser, since it was much easier, but it takes away from the experience.
I've had people say "it's just a PC!", when i did this, showing that they actually didn't think so before. This an impressive feat for mediaportal

Anyway, i love your .fm feature, but now i don't actually use it since i want to see all youtube vids and use it for that instead.

It's called hover_youtubefm.png now. I can't wait until this plugin is stable - maybe it is for others already but it crashes MP on both my "test" system (running Vista) and my HTPC (running MCE '05). Unfortunately I don't have enough spare time to post logs etc at the moment I'll definitely support it in BleazleWide once it's "all good"....

Error log attached from my HTPC. To reproduce I do a search, select a clip to download and the system "jams" for about 10 seconds then the "Windows Error Message" pops up saying MP has encountered an error. NOTE: sometimes I can download clips - I managed to download one before the error occurred tonight...

Let me know if there's any other information I can give you.

I like the plugin however i am running into a problem wondering if anyone has found a way around it. I cant skip a track with MCE remote and clicking the skip button does anyone know how i can skip a track via the remote

YouTube.fm has killed my scrobbler.. I can't scrobble no matter what... In youtube.fm nor music section.. Any ideas why..

Sorry for the slow reply this seems to have fixed the jamming issue but I'm still having problems downloading files - sometimes a file will download OK and then others will only get the first few seconds and that's it. Plus, is it possible to have "downloading" indicator showing or can it only be implemented as per the current setup?

Also I noticed that when I changed the video quality to anything other than Normal no files would play (Audio Codec error) plus even when set to "Normal" sometimes a file won't play (once again Audio Codec error) but then if I come back to the same file later it plays (and I haven't done anything to my codecs!)...

I'll clear out my logs and run things on the weekend and then post new logs for you to have a look at.

It's getting better all the time, that's the main thing!
