The disco it is a simple random list, depend what you mean with type, in next version i can implement something more complicated if we found a theoretically solution.

A random list based on genre?
Click disco-> popup select genre -> play videos...
Maybe setting for default disco genre and a few genres to pick from?

No way to get youtube videos based on genre, something like Musik - R&B - YouTube it is a list somehow filtered based on recommended videos, but in my case in R&B genres i have Heaven and Hell - CC Catch, Sober - Pink, Rolling in the Deep - Adele , this nothing to do with R&B. The recommended video list is build based on played, liked, shared videos, but videos played via plugin isn't recorded as played, so this list is useless.
I think more usable way, is to save in artist database the artist tags and make search based on this tags or make a search with specified genre (but the search result need to be cleaned some how ..), or get artist list from last.fm belongs to a specified genre and then get this artists videos.

i think this will be the best way , to get genre from lastfm ,to add it to artist DB then can get search by genre not just for disco,wich is great idea by the way ...but for regular search by genere ...

but as far as i see what we get now for artist is tags wich inclode many defrent things , we need only genre (can be 1~3 genres) all do more corect 1 genre for 1 artsit .... but any way you go will be great add on to the plugin ...

I add a menu item for genres/tag in Artist view, it is just experimental, any observation/ideas welcomed.

Hey Dukus, thanks! By 'menu item' I assume you mean the tags item in the list when you select Artists? (see screenshot) not an item on the hidden menu right?

So far it looks pretty good here. I haven't had time to test it really thoroughly yet, but it is a nice way to browse artists especially when you can't remember their names or how to spell them

Youtube.fm v8.1/2 has been working great for me. The only problem is that now I use up my 20 GB limit for high speed internet by viewing and downloading music videos

dukus, can you add the ability to filter search results by HD/SD/360p/480p etc? Or does this exist already?

Here are the xmls for PureVisionHD and PureVisionHD Blue together with some screenshots
FYI: Your MPEI installer copies the Google.Gdata.xxx.dlls into the wrong place (into plugins\windows instead of MP program dir).
You should change that asap. (I had really trouble to use this plugin before I encountered this error).

could someone please help me. I've just installed the plugin but it either crashes MediaPortal, actually it freezes, or it simply doesn't play the clip.

Seems you are affected by the MPEI installer error:
MPEI installer copies the Google.Gdata.xxx.dlls into the wrong place (into plugins\windows instead of MP program dir).
Just copy those files from \plugins\windows into the main dir of MP
