Hello,

could someone please help me. I've just installed the plugin but it either crashes MediaPortal, actually it freezes, or it simply doesn't play the clip.
Logs are attached.

I'm more the skiner/test guy with the plugin ,dukus is the dev' part... he proboly will be on line later on today,max tommarow ... but let me try to help for now .. need more info from you...
1.do you can open the plugin and can scroll throw manu's and list's ? or the plugin crash on open the plugin ?
2.i see in your log you use Avalon skin (Always recommended to post logs with default's skin ,for plugin) did you try first to play it with default skin ?
3. if you can open the plugin and scorll throw menu's o.k , and the crash happn when try to play a clip ... Most Likely is codec problem , wich codec you use ?

Edit : i see dukus in on line alrady ..

wow thanks for your support.
1; yes I can open the plugin and scroll throw the manus list this is fine I also see all the clips.
2; no I never used it with the standard skin
3; I'm using the internal WMV player

This is almost sure a codec problem, try to use saf from :https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/codecs-331/saf-v6-based-lavf-95635/

FYI: Your MPEI installer copies the Google.Gdata.xxx.dlls into the wrong place (into plugins\windows instead of MP program dir).
You should change that asap. (I had really trouble to use this plugin before I encountered this error).

hi dukus , did you see catavolt report abut installation ? is this corect ?
where the file "Google.Gdata.xxx.dlls" need to install ?

Great , the plugin work great (after testing for long time in the pass , the only issue we hear was codec realeted only...

Update - keep you informed.

I'm using my HTPC not only for mediaportal but also for my Ergoplanet showing RLV's for bike training sessions. SAF V6 isn't working with Ergoplant so I installed shark007 Shark007's FREE Codec solutions - Windows 7 codecs and finally Ergoplant and youtube/mediaportal is working.

thanks for the info , i was plan to test it with shark007 codec , and with the new LAV Filters , AS MP futur plan to go with LAV i plan to focus testing with that ....

Hi guys,

I installed the youtube plugin in MP 1.2.2. with skin DefaultWide and everthing ran fine. Now I installed StreamedMP and switched to that. I use BasicHome and added the Youtube entry in the BasicHome Editor of StreamedMP. Now the Youtube plugin doesn't work anymore. When I start it there's a blue MP-logo in the middle of the screen for about 2-3 seconds saying "loading.." and then it disappears. Nothing happens.
Do I have to change some settings after switching to StreamedMP?
