The last version didn't help me.
Next song is played only after MP starts up.
If I switch to videos and come back an error occurs.
So I have to switch the plugin off or two restart MP whan I want to listen to music.

Thats the behaviour i had with the previous version 0.3.1...
You did use version 0.3.3 from page 8 right ?, that one should be ok as long you as you dont use the playlist.
Yes, I tried 0.3.3 and still have issues when compiling playlists both in MyMusic and MyVideos
I just installed this program. I also have FFDShow and registered FLVsplitter.ax and added .flv as an extension. I added my youtube account and password into the config. NOW, I go into mediaportal, my plugins, youtube.fm. I choose a selection from the menu that comes up (any selection i.e. most viewed) and then NOTHING. I have nothing on the screen, just a blue overlay to the left of screen on top of MP background.
What have I done wrong??
I saw some mention of the YOUTUBE VIDEO PLAYER. I seem unable to find it. Where can I locate this?

Try de-selecting the "Play HQ" feature: Also, make sure your FFDShow has flash support enabled. (FFDshow tryouts have this,, but "older" once does not).
OK, FFDShow has flv support. I don't know where the "Play HQ" item is to turn it off. I'm running 3.3 of the plugin. I have it working now sort of... there are still a few visual glitches that when I sit down to play with it next time I'll write them all out to post to the developer of the plugin. I somehow had an option checked for showing now playing instead of full screen and when I unchecked that I get videos in fullscreen fine... If it's unchecked then I hear them but the video is apparently off to the right of my screen and can't be seen. I also found the use youtube video player option and turned it on and then enable the youtube video player in the plugins ... ( I was just scrolling through to see what other things were there and found it.)...
WEIRD thing though I have to mention. If I tell it to list my favorites... the first set of favorites is from my list, then it says "next page 21 - 41" I think that's it... anyway, I click that and the files listed are NOT from my favorites... also for some reason, I don't get some of the videos on the search that I KNOW exist on the site. such as: Star Wars Boomin . My kids love that song and video and I get NOTHING in the search. If I search the site it comes up in the list. The actual title of the video is this: Star Wars: Boomin' notice the colon and apostrophe ... are they the problem??? I'll test next chance I get.

changed connection to tv and was able to get clearer picture and use a wide skin.... all of a sudden the favorites are almost all there... still a couple missing... and I'm STILL not able to do a search and find the star wars boomin for instance.. why??? Also, I now still don't know where this play HQ item is.
media portal conifg fails
after I installed the latest version of your plugin I can no longer run Media Portal Config program> It says; Failed to locate assembly google.gdata.client versio 1.0.9.9 culture = neutral, public token=
etc etc
and Media Portal config screen exits. How do I fix this or uninstall your Plugin that caused it?

You can remove the plugin be removing it from the windows-folder. Running Windows XP this is located in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows.
