Attached are the logs and xml files after last nights crash.. that happened while I was in mptvseries and I was marking some epsiodes as wached.
Although it often errors when I just leave it sitting on the home screen or something.

WIth MPSync, I get a lot of errors,,database corruption and resuming issues (maybe the latter is also finally caused by another plugin), using the latest version.
I have MPSync disabled right now but it really helps me with my HTPC and Server and MPExtended. I'll try to reproduce errors and give you more detailed information in the next days.

Okay, here's a debug log file.
I first had all databases rebuilt from a fresh installation on my main HTPC to be sure that there is no database corruption triggering errors. I am running 1.8pre, but this behaviour also occured on earlier versions of MP (but has not always been there).
I have deleted the target PCs databases before the sync, so I was sure that MPSync will copy the new databases from scratch.
I keep on getting these errors on EVERY sync.

What I found out which sure was an issue: I am running TVMovie EPG import++ on the server (the target machine), a EPG plugin for german TV stations.
I had options enabled where this plugin would access the synced databases on the TV server, so they might be locked during sync, this sure has thromwn a lot of errors in the past, I just became aware of those options today and disabled them, so the databases should only be accessed by MPExtended (which is neccessary and never made problems as far as I am aware).

I have reenabled MPSync now and will see if this will cause database corruption again (vacuum databases is disabled) an the source HTPC, or if I'll again have problems with resume from standby (see linked thread above).
I'll keep the debug logs enabled.

Database corruption again on the HTPC after resume and MePo failing to start (I have working backups) today. I'll disable MPSync again and see what happens. Logs attached again.

Installed the plugin and got an unhandled exception as soon as it tried to launch.

Well, from the first line you can see the plugin doesn't like something related to a path (folder location). So it might be a good idea to post MediaPortal log files (which include MediaPortal.xml) so the paths you use can be checked..

Hi

Does MPSync sync last viewpoints? I mean if I stop a Movie the time to resume is stored in the local VideoDatabaseV5.db3 database. I have done some testing but can't get it to work. I want to be able to resume the movie from another client where I stopped earlier.


Is the possible with MPSync?
