Currently TvServer needs an MPEG stream which than is transformed to a TS stream. Therefor we can't use TsWriter for timeshifting, recording etc.
We need a filter that creates a TS from a MPEG PS or MPEG2 Video and MPEG2 audio stream, including teletext data and the channel name for scanning...

Users should be able to import/export not only channel/group/schedule data, but also the configuration parameters of the TV Server itself.
This could include recording paths, naming rules, epg settings...
Maybe the existing TV Server backup plugin can be used...

Stopping video ( .ts ) in windowed mode ( small window, left,down) mode ( Home page, TVguide, Video list ) cause MP/Tsreader to go in deadlock with around 30% chance.
This seems not occuring in TV page, and never in fullscreen.
Starting a new video with an already playing video or TV cause the same deadlock.
Tried on 3 different XP...

Deploytool should configure Win7 built-in firewall with the current in-use profile instead of Public,Private.
Also it shouldn't restrict the peers to "local subnet" as that won't work if user has Public-profile in use.

When the MP-II server is connected, the "Local Media" menu entry should disappear from the Home menu and "Music", "Movies" and "Pictures" menu entries should appear. Clicking those menu entries should bring up screens/sections of the media plugin especially for the particular part.

ServiceScope is depending on PlugInManager only in one function (LoadServicesFromPlugins). By moving this function to the PlugInManager the dependency can be removed. This will lead to easier testing.

Remoting timeout on the server was currently not enabled.
(see remotecontrol.cs)
It means that any calling application could potentially hang when calling a remote method (sync), not asynch.
Ex. is mediaportal using tvplugin, which calls methods on the server.
Or setuptv which also calls methods on the server.
I've seen MP hang...

when using a multiseat client in SMB mode (without RTSP) it will often have the following problems:
1) tv wont even start (restarting TV often works).
2) hickups during TS file transitions (roll-over).

If TV-Server restarts while MP with TV-Client is running, Client doesn't reconnect to TV-Server when it is available again(logs @ bug forum first post).
Similar issue it's also if LAN disconnects or drops for a sec or two.
