the manual timer does not run correctly (0.2.2.0 SVN 12866).
The PC starts at the indicated time, but it jumps not...
I was thinking about this just yesterday. It would be handy to have a dummy tv card for my plugin testing as my development PC doesn't have any tv cards.

After alot of testing today, I have determined that changing channels is fine between any analog channels through the Hauppauge card.
The probelem only occurs with digital TV thrpught the ATSC card. It will happen on broadcasts of 720p or 1080i. I just test switching only between channels of the same type ie (Start TV - full screen...

thanks for the link huma2000, it seems to be fixed now, installed another driver and made changes to the nvidia control panel and also had to add media portal to the application tab and some other changes, cant remember them all, but opening full screen on the svideo TV.

Hey guys, that's my bad. I've been trying to get quality control to work for everyone. It seems as if Hauppauge cards don't all report the same. I'll change it back to the way it was, but if you could run the test in the thread "Calling all hauppauge owners", I would appreciate it, and it might help you out in the future.

This is apparently a subject of much debate :(
I just updated my drivers from the chipset page, rather than the older ones from the motherboard page (!) and I now have video running.
However, occasional "blue screen of death" crashes have replaced the original problem, and the GUI is anything but responsive.

I needed to update my MCE 2005 with Rollup 2 for windows

I then reinstall my WinFast DTV 2000 H (Digital) drivers again.
The above steps appear to have fixed the problem.

Hi quiller, I've looked at the code, and i can't figure out why you're getting what you're getting. Can you uninstall MP, delete the MP directory, and reinstall MP. Don't install any 3rd party plugins or the tv server. Could you tell me if you get the same message? Thanks

I found out that nvidia purevideo is the clearly the best for my config. It's way faster than any other codec that I have tested and it's zoom options somehow work better for me. And the video quality is still top notch :P
