Maybe your TV/Monitor setup, what is the refresh rate set to in windows?
TV broadcasts in PAL are 50Hz refresh. If you have the PC:s gfxcard refresh at 60Hz you will get a 10Hz interference and that will be the microstutter you see.

well, using the lastest svn of tvserver 3 did the trick, too... it now recognises even the analogue parts of my card automatically (not that i'd use 'em *g*)

You are right, it does not support the new TV engine yet.
I'm looking at improving layout and readability, but I'm not planning to systematically increase font sizes.
There is work being done on a big font screen by Darkwader (can't find the right thread just like that now)

I never got this card working to my satisfaction. I don't remember exactly, but I think I still had sound problems. I am now having problems with the PC that this card is installed in, so I can't check.
I do know that with the newer drivers, you don't need the audio cable plugged into the sound...

With the latest TVE3 it works for me, at least with an additional workaround.
From my perspective, TVE3 is very good already and not really beta any more. Also, channel chaning speed is great (less than 3 seconds for DVB-S).

unfortunately I cannot help you with your problem, but I can confirm that starting from 0.2.1.0 (included) I have had problems with the SS2 (diseq, recording, etc.).
With the previous releases everything was fine (I was using the WDM drivers 4.3).

64K cluster size is the best choice I think for recording partitions. Just don't set your OS partition to anything but the default, or you'll end up wasting space.

I'm pretty sure it's to do with the fact I didn't give it enough time to check the recording service and set the wakeup time. Perhaps Power scheduler should catch the onstandby event (if one exists, just hypothesizing here!), and check recordings there!
