I installed Pabliks version from the first post along with Browse The Web plugin. I get the list of articles, I can view the webpage but I can't get out of that view except be going out to the main menu with the MCE button on the remote.
Any idea why the back button won't...
I installed the latest version. No errors. It doesn't seem to backup tvserver at all on mine. I'm not sure if it should as I only started using tvserver recently.
I'll do a test install on a laptop to see what should backup.
Scratch that. All perfect. Hadn't enabled the plugin in TVServer...
I'm getting a "dependency check error! install aborted! would you like to view more details?"
If I click yes I get a box with a general and a plugin tab.
the general tab shows a table
Name / Type / Min / Max
Backupsettings / Mediaportal / 1.36.100.0...
Again not a coder but I would surmise that you need just one folder each of the backupsettingsmp and backupsettingstv.
Is there any difference between the files in each folder? They seem to all have the same version number.
I'm not in any way a coder but could it be that it just needs the mpei to be reconfigured so it recognises x64 installations too? and can install to the x64 locations....
How can I extract those files and directories to aid in identification?
An educated guess would be that these might be superfluous.
<DIR> BackupSettingsTV_1.0.1
<DIR> BackupSettingsTV_1.1RC1
<DIR> BackupSettingsTV_1.1RC2
<DIR> BackupSettingsTV_1.2

HELP!!
I am trying to get IPTV working fully on my TVServer. I don't understand what is happening when I try to configure TVServer.
Does the IPTV filter and splitter support m3u8 files? Does it support https?
Up to now I can only get it to work on basic m3u files and only on http port 80...
So I'm still battling with getting my TV server running optimally. I have scanned and added all the IPTV channels but they are unwatchable through mediaportal. For some reason it keeps jumping back up to a minute and replaying the same bit and about a minute later it does it again. This only...
I've no idea if this is possible or in the works but I am wondering if the IPTV part of TVServer could be upgraded to support M3U8, HTTPS, HLS or whatever is needed for newer IPTV connections?
