I've successfully linked to my Media server and can see all my FLAC files, but when I try to play them MP2.1 pre2 tells me there's no player registered. I've been looking around and it seems I need to register another player. Is it as simple as installing something or am I missing a trick here...

Fair enough. Thank you both. I thought this was unintended behaviour as it's something that most players do, not just MP1. It's most handy when fast forwarding.I shall post in suggestions.
